Biographical data
Little is known about the details of his life. His place of birth is uncertain. The term “Krajna” found in the sources is ambiguous: it could refer to the historical province of Krajna/Carniola, but it could also be identified with Karaj, the present-day village of Krajné in Slovakia, whose former Hungarian name was Krajna; however, some sources list Nagyszombat as his place of birth.
According to the literature, he served in overseas missions from around 1730–1731, presumably in the area of the Jesuit missions in Paraguay. The year of his death is unknown.
