Biographical data
He entered the order on August 6, 1947. He took his simple vows on May 26, 1949, and his perpetual vows on September 8, 1951. He was ordained a priest on June 27, 1952. Outside the Order, he served in the Diocese of Győr. After his mother’s death, at the invitation of his brother, Ernő Ödön Linka, he emigrated to Brazil in 1977. From 1983, he served as assistant house master; from 1985, as house master and financial director; and from 1994, as subprior. He passed away in 2016 as the last active Hungarian Benedictine in Brazil.
