He was a student at the college in Nagyszombat. He joined the order in Trencsén in 1713, or, according to other sources, on October 31, 1715. In 1716, he taught at a secondary school in Győr. From 1717 to 1719, he studied philosophy in Vienna. Afterward, he taught at secondary schools in Kőszeg, Kassa, and Győr for one year each. From 1724 to 1726, he studied theology in Vienna. He was ordained a priest in Vienna in 1725. He took his vows in Candelaria on April 29, 1733. From 1726 until his death, he served as a missionary. In 1767, when the Portuguese expelled the Jesuits from the colonies, he died upon arriving in Spain. During his ministry, he was subjected to many attacks and was forced to hand over his mission to the Portuguese because of his role in the “Guarani War” of 1756.
