Biographical data

His father is Hungarian and his mother is of Croatian descent. Before entering the order, he lived in Rome and spent two years at Casa Balthasar, founded by the future Pope Benedict XVI, where his vocation to the Jesuit order became clear.
He entered the order on September 13, 1998. After a two-year novitiate, he completed his studies in philosophy in Munich between 2000 and 2003, where he earned a master’s degree. He then served as a master in Budapest from 2003 to 2004. He studied theology in London and at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome from 2004 to 2007. On July 21, 2007, he was ordained a priest in Subotica by János Pénzes, the Bishop of Subotica. He completed his tertianship in the United States from 2014 to 2015. He took his final vows on March 29, 2016. Since 2021, he has been a student at the Doctoral School of Literary Studies at ELTE BTK.
