He entered the Marian Province on August 12, 1926. He took his perpetual vows on February 3, 1932. He was ordained a priest on June 24, 1934. In 1935, he earned a doctorate in theology from Pázmány Péter University. He lived in Germany from 1941 and in the United States from 1953.
