Biographical data

His parents were István Juhász (Rosental) and Emilia Schoffan; he had three siblings. His twin brother, Imre, also became a Franciscan priest. He entered the order on August 28, 1928. He took his simple vows on August 29, 1929, and his perpetual vows on October 5, 1932, in Gyöngyös. He was ordained a priest in Eger on June 18, 1933. During the period when the order was restricted, he became an assistant pastor near Szeged, and later worked as an electrician. He left Hungary after 1956 and settled in the United States. On August 28, 1985, he suffered a hip fracture and subsequently died of pneumonia that developed as a complication of the injury.
