He completed his studies at the seminary in Eger. He was ordained a priest on June 21, 1997. He was the founding conductor of the Cantate Domino choir in Örkény.
In 2018, he was named an honorary citizen of Örkény. He arrived in the United States on September 25, 2018. He regularly streamed church services online, making Hungarian-language Masses accessible even to those who lived too far from the church. After returning home in 2024, he became the dean of the Szécsény Deanery.
