He entered the order in 1991, took his simple vows in 1993, and his perpetual vows in 1996. He was ordained a priest in 1998. He earned a licentiate in fundamental theology at the Pontificia Università Gregoriana in Rome in 1991. He earned a bachelor’s degree in theology (baccalaureatus) and a certification to teach Catholic religion in secondary schools in Szeged in 1998. He completed postgraduate studies in Washington, D.C., at The Catholic University of America. He earned a doctorate in theology (Ph.D.) from Pázmány Péter Catholic University in 2019. He is the department chair and associate professor at Sapientia College of Theology, vice rector for education and research, and will serve as rector beginning in 2025.
