Biographical data
Pál Diczky was born on February 1, 1910, in Rimaszombat. As a priest of the Diocese of Rozsnyó, he was ordained on September 25, 1932, in Rozsnyó. He spent his years as a chaplain in Sőreg, then served as an assistant pastor in Nagyszuhán and as an administrator in Jolsva and Rapp. Later, he served as a catechist in Rožňava, and in 1940 he was appointed parish priest of Tornaalja. From 1943, he served as a reserve chaplain for the 7th Army Corps.
He arrived in the United States on February 18, 1952. From 1953 until his death, he served in the Neligh area of Nebraska, where he carried out pastoral work associated with St. Teresa and St. Francis churches, and also served as chaplain at Antelope Memorial Hospital. He passed away on February 1, 1985; his grave is located at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Norfolk.
