Biographical data

He was born in the United States. He attended school in Canton, OH, and later pursued theological studies in Cincinnati, OH, and Corner, WI. He was ordained a priest in the Franciscan Order on August 20, 1976. On January 1, 1992, following the dissolution of the custodianship, he was incardinated into the Diocese of Cleveland. Although of Italian descent, he learned some Hungarian and was involved in Hungarian pastoral ministry.
