Biographical data
His parents were Károly Radóczy and Katalin Luspay. There are discrepancies in his biographical information. According to Diós, he studied theology in Vác and was ordained there; however, several other sources indicate that he went to the United States as a seminarian and was ordained a priest in South Orange, NJ, in 1902. His U.S. naturalization records list his date of arrival as August 1, 1899. He was granted citizenship on October 2, 1908.
He served in the United States until 1923, then returned home.
