Biographical data
Religious name: Saint Francis de Sales. He entered the order on August 27, 1911, in Vác. He took his perpetual vows on April 5, 1917. He was ordained a priest on June 30, 1918. He earned his doctorate in 1931. In the early 1950s, he was arrested and sentenced to five years in prison. After his release, he was no longer a member of the order and worked in a secular profession. He left the country in 1964 with an emigration passport and went on to teach mathematics and physics in Buffalo, despite facing significant language difficulties. He also participated in the Hungarian pastoral ministry at his parish.
