Biographical data
He was ordained a priest in 1905. He is not mentioned in the Győr parish registers from 1906 onward; he was incardinated into the Diocese of Szatmár in an unknown year. He arrived in the United States in 1912. The difficulties surrounding the construction of the church in Elyria and financial uncertainty took a toll on his nerves, leading him to commit suicide; this was reported in the press at the time as a heart attack.
