He completed his high school studies in Ditró and his theological studies in Gyulafehérvár. At the invitation and with the support of László Lászlói, he pursued postgraduate studies in canon law in Canada from 1995 to 1997 and from 1999 to 2002, where he earned a doctorate in canon law. On June 25, 1995, he was ordained a priest by Archbishop György Jakubinyi in Gyulafehérvár.
Since 2003, he has lived and served continuously in Canada, in the Archdiocese of Toronto. He has been a member of the Order of Columbus since 2003 and its chaplain since 2004. His area of research focuses on examining the connections between the 1983 Code of Canon Law and the 1990 *Codex canonum Ecclesiarum orientalium*. In addition to his duties as a parish priest, he serves as a defender of the bond in the matrimonial tribunal and as the archbishop’s delegate for cases of laicization within the Archdiocese of Toronto. Since 2016, he has served as a defender of the bond at the Canadian Court of Appeal.
He celebrates Mass for the Hungarian faithful once every one or two months.
