Biographical data
He was born in the United States, but his family moved back to Hungary when he was a child. He is a married pastor; his wife is Mária Nagy, and their son is Pál.
He completed his theological studies in Uzhhorod. He earned a doctorate in canon law from the Faculty of Theology at Pázmány Péter University. Diocesan Bishop Miklós Dudás ordained him as a priest of the Diocese of Hajdúdorog in Nyíregyháza on November 21, 1946.
He is buried in the Nagyerdei Cemetery in Debrecen.
