Her religious name was Saint Rosalia. After completing her studies at the Piarist school in Sátoraljaújhely, she entered the order on August 27, 1939. At the end of his studies, he experienced the end of the war as a camp chaplain and cadet at St. John’s Hospital in Buda. He was ordained a priest in Budapest on July 1, 1945. He earned a doctorate in theology from the Royal Hungarian Pázmány Péter University. In 1949, he was suspended with immediate effect from the nationalized Piarist high school on charges of agitation in support of Prince Primate Mindszenty. He went into hiding to avoid arrest. In 1965, he left the country and, after a brief stay in Rome, emigrated to the United States. In his absence, he was sentenced to six months in prison. He was a member of the Árpád Academy in Cleveland from 1985. In 2010, he returned to Hungary and lived at the monastery in Szeged until his death. He passed away after a brief illness. At the time of his death, he was the oldest living Hungarian Piarist.
