Biographical data
His father was Father Ananiás Matyaczkó, and his mother was Mária Rakovszky. His wife’s name was Pauline (1854–1922). He pursued his theological studies in Uzhhorod. On December 9, 1877, he was ordained a priest by János Pásztélyi Kovács, Bishop of Munkács. In 1896, he emigrated to the United States.
