Biographical data

She is a second-generation Hungarian. Her parents were József Kulcsár and Barbara Nyitrai; she had six siblings, though some sources say ten. His parents emigrated to Canada in 1902. His sister Rita was the superior of the Canadian province of the Sisters of Charity. He was ordained a priest on July 6, 1941.
