Biographical data
His parents were Antal Kubek, a Greek Catholic parish priest, and Vilma Kiss; he had four siblings, two of whom became priests. His wife was Mária Schirilla, whom he married on March 13, 1881. They had six children; one of their sons, Antal, also became a priest. He was ordained on November 23, 1881. He arrived in the United States in 1904.
