Biographical data
He completed his theological studies in Uzhhorod and then in Esztergom. He was ordained a priest by Diocesan Bishop István Miklósy in Nyíregyháza on June 29, 1924. After his ordination, he emigrated to the United States, arriving on the steamship George Washington on July 31, 1924. He was married. His wife: Margit Petreczky (who passed away in 1993 at the age of 104); their children: Bazil (1925–2005), Margit (1926–1983), and Klára (1931–2020).
