Biographical data

His religious name was Saint Ignatius of Loyola. He entered the order in Vác on August 27, 1944. He took his final vows on March 25, 1949. He was ordained a priest on June 21, 1950. He earned a teaching degree in Latin and Hungarian in Budapest in 1950, but was soon excluded from the order for political reasons and emigrated to the United States in 1957. He became a U.S. citizen in October 1977.
