Biographical data
He entered the Capuchin Order in 1927. He took his final vows in 1932. He completed his theological studies at Pázmány Péter University. He was ordained a priest in Budapest by István Zadravecz, OFM, retired military bishop, on June 20, 1935. His superiors sent him to Rome in 1947 to continue his studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University. There he earned a licentiate in theology. He lived in Canada from 1951 to 1964. On March 11, 1958, he received Canadian citizenship. He then lived in France and, until the end of his life, in Italy, where he became a Hungarian chaplain.
