He holds a doctorate in philosophy. He speaks nine languages. He converted at the age of twenty. He studied for four years in Győr and then for two years in Budapest at the Central Seminary. He was ordained a priest in Pécs on June 18, 1978. He is an honorary dean. In 1982, he traveled to the United States. In the U.S., he taught at a university and served as a Hungarian pastor in New York, NY. He has been retired since 2016. He is currently a member of the Regional Research Ethics Committee at the Clinical Center of the University of Pécs.
