Biographical data
He completed his high school education at the Benedictine High School in Pápa. At the age of 18, he was drafted into the army and served in the 83rd Imperial and Royal Infantry Regiment in Vienna, from which he was discharged as an ensign after receiving multiple decorations. He studied theology in Szombathely, where he was ordained a priest in 1924. In 1925, he participated in the rescue of children in Belgium and the Netherlands. He arrived in the United States in 1931. He was one of the leaders of the American Hungarian Catholic League. He passed away at St. Francis Hospital in Trenton, NJ, due to a heart attack.
