He was ordained a priest in Esztergom on June 19, 1973, or, according to other sources, on June 18, 1977. In 1981, he was temporarily assigned to the Diocese of Székesfehérvár, and then emigrated to the United States in 1982. It is known that he was there in 1989, but there is no information about his activities. He is listed among those celebrating their silver jubilee in 2002.
