Biographical data
He was born in the United States. He studied theology in Győr, where he was ordained a priest on June 23, 1940. In October 1956, he addressed the gathered crowd from the balcony of the Győr City Hall and participated in compiling a list of demands; as a result, he was arrested on the night of March 14–15, 1957, and transported to Kistarcsa on April 9, where he was assaulted. He was later released on medical grounds.
