Biographical data
His first name is István according to Miklósházy, but Márton in all other sources. His birth name was Hernádfőy. He was ordained a priest on July 20, 1948. He studied at the Angelicum University in Rome as a student of the Pontifical Hungarian Institute, and did not return home from there. In 1963, he was incardinated into the Diocese of Toledo, OH. He retired in 1994 and moved to Budapest.
