Biographical data
His father was Miklós Gulovics, a priest, and his mother was Paulina Azary. His wife was Izabella Danielovics, and they had five children. His son, István, also served as a priest and died at a very young age. He pursued his theological studies in Uzhhorod. He was ordained a priest on December 14, 1902, by Bishop Gyula Firczák of Munkács. Shortly after his ordination, he arrived in the United States. He died in 1918 as a result of pneumonia. In addition to his work as a parish priest, he taught mathematics at the Hungarian school, as he had earned a degree in mathematics before his ordination.
