Biographical data
His father was Mihály Fedorkó, a schoolteacher, and his mother was Mária Dzugos (Gyugos); he had four siblings. He was born in the United States, but the family returned to Hungary when he was still a child. His wife was Mária Mihalovics, whom he married in Topolya on November 18, 1918. They had two children, or three according to other sources. He pursued his theological studies in Uzhhorod. He was ordained a priest on December 22, 1918, by Bishop Antal Papp of Munkács. He served as honorary dean from 1928 and honorary archdeacon from 1944.
In 1950, the communist authorities revoked his license to practice.
