Biographical data
He began his seminary studies in November 1911, several months after the regular academic year had begun. He was ordained a priest on February 20, 1916, in Székesfehérvár. He arrived in the United States on May 1, 1931, aboard the steamship SS Roma, which had departed from the port of Genoa on April 25. He returned to Hungary around 1937. In 1943, he was arrested in connection with a case involving the forgery of baptismal certificates.
